Samsung India has launched five new mobile phones in the Indian market. Samsung’s brand Ambassador Aamir Khan was also present at the launch event. The five models launched yesterday included SGH-i450, SGH-G800, i550, D880 and J210. The new mobile phones from Samsung offer a rich multimedia experience along with the latest features and sleek design. Samsung SGH G800 offers high quality imaging with a 5 mega pixels camera offering up to 3x optical zoom. The model is priced at Rs 21,799.
Samsung i550 has a 3 mega pixels camera, in-built GPS receiver, easy navigation and support for Bluetooth audio streaming. The Symbian S60 powered i550 is priced at Rs 25,000.
Samsung D880 is powered by 3.2 mega pixels camera and offers Stereo FM radio as well. The dual GSM SIM phone with a 2.3 inch wide LCD screen is priced at Rs 13,799.
Samsung SGH-i450 comes with a price tag of Rs 15,000. The phone offers great sound quality with its “Mobile Theatre Experience” powered by ICE Power amplifiers from Bang & Olufsen.
Samsung J210 is the cheapest among the recently launched mobile phones from the company. Priced at Rs 6,649, Samsung J210 offers to megapixel camera, Bluetooth music streaming and FM recording. This model may become very popular as it is fairly priced, has stylish looks and offers lots of features.
During the launch ceremony, H B Lee, CEO (South West Asia) of Samsung, said, “Aamir Khan, whose quality and depth of work as well as versatility as an actor, have made him a much-loved and respected actor in India today. We are indeed very proud and privileged to have him as our Brand Ambassador.”
